Nauru’s Citizenship by donation program requires a one time contribution to the Nauru Treasury Fund set up by government as a part of the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program (NCECRCP), is used to fund projects that support economic growth and climate resilience in Nauru, for infrastructure development and diversification.
Nauru currently faces severe threats from climate change, rising sea levels, intensifying storm surges, and accelerating biodiversity loss. Your treasury contribution will enable the Nauruan government to fund various development projects, potentially including climate resilience initiatives, infrastructure improvements, renewable energy projects, and sustainable economic diversification efforts.
Treasury Donation
The donation amount varies based on the number of dependents included in the application
- Single Applicant: $105,000
- Family of 2-4: $110,000
- Family of 5 or more: $115,000
- Each additional sibling of the main applicant or their spouse: $15,000
The funds are directed to projects managed by the Department of Climate Change and National Resilience, focusing on sustainable energy, clean water access, infrastructure relocation, higher ground initiatives, food production, habitat restoration, and Pacific Island urbanism.
The Nauru Citizenship Program Office will be responsible for administering, running and overseeing the new program.
